Laboratory Introduction

The Laboratory for Advanced Perception and Control (LAPC) at Nankai University currently has 37 researchers, including 3 faculty members, 14 Ph.D. students, and 20 master's students. The laboratory has published 1 monograph and 110 SCI papers, while obtaining 42 invention patents. Additionally, the laboratory has undertaken 14 national-level projects, 13 provincial-level projects, and 5 horizontal projects. The lab has received 17 important honors, including the First Prize of Hebei Province Natural Science Award, Tianjin Natural Science Foundation Outstanding Young Scholar Project, and Hebei Province Natural Science Foundation Outstanding Young Scholar Project. Our students have won 2 provincial-level outstanding master's thesis awards and 3 best paper awards at academic conferences. Furthermore, many graduates have joined important national defense institutions including the PLAAF, Aviation Industry Corporation of China, China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation, China Electronics Technology Group, China North Industries Group, as well as leading companies such as ByteDance, Huawei, Meituan, Xiaomi, NetEase, and CATL. Some have pursued further studies at world-renowned universities including National University of Singapore, University of Southern California, Georgia Institute of Technology, Imperial College London, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, and the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
